PLA is the most well-known and widely used 3D printing filament. Leapfrog’s PLA is composed of biodegradable plastic that was engineered to provide greater durability than the standardly available PLA. The material is strong, impact resistant and very easy to use. It is not as harmful to the environment as other 3D printing filaments such as ABS. E-PLA offers high quality of the prints, perfect dimensional accuracy as it decreases the splitting between layers, and wide range of applications. Very suitable for the production of visual and functional prototypes as well as tooling parts.

Leapfrog advices against storing the filament in humid areas as it absorbs moisture.
